When I ran for Council in 2006, I did so in response to citizens who were concerned about rising taxes, overcrowded houses in their neighborhoods, increased Town spending and public safety issues. I am pleased to say that as a member of the current Council, I have been responsive to many of your concerns and worked very hard to address those issues and to make changes to the state of the Town that existed before I took office.
Please take a few moments to view this website. Hopefully, by spending some time here, you`ll be afforded the opportunity to get to know me better. And, hopefully, you`ll have a better understanding of what I`ve being doing to make our community a better place. Finally, I hope to share with you some my goals for continuing to improve the quality of life in Herndon.
We have a great Town, with much opportunity to make it even better. We also have challenges to be met in the coming years.
I came to office on the promise that I would listen and value what you wanted in your government. I have lived up to that promise. I pledge to continue to be responsive to your concerns and to continue responsible management of our Town resources. It is my honor and a privilege to serve you as a member of the Herndon Town Council.
I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve you in the next two years.
