While we have accomplished a lot in the past two years, I still feel that we have opportunities to continue this progress. Here are some of my goals for the 2008-2010 Council.
The success of the 287(g) enforcement by the Herndon Police Department is evident. I support having more officers of the Herndon Police Department participate in Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement 287(g) program training.
Continue to support programs that maintain and improve the quality of residential neighborhoods
Continue to support Rental Inspection Program
Continue to support Neighborhood Improvement Program.
Continue to support aggressive efforts to further reduce overcrowding in residential neighborhoods
Complete the Comprehensive Plan review
Continue to work to ensure that the citizens of Herndon continue to enjoy the high quality of services that our Town is known for.
Continue to work to provide these services efficiently and affordably.
